Latest NewsInaugural Conference Declared a Big Success!From August 3 through August 6, ABCSW members (and prospective members!) learned, shared, celebrated, and inspired each other at the first conference our organization has ever offered. It was so well received that there is no doubt we will do it again! Combining both in-person and virtual attendees, we welcomed almost 200 participants to a program filled with amazing expertise from a diverse array of presenters. Appreciation was repeatedly expressed for the atmosphere of openness and safety for having some tough conversations around difficult issues. Dr. Charu Stokes-Williams to Receive the 2021 Distinguished Alumni AwardWe are pleased to share that Dr. Charu Stokes-Williams, an ABCSW Board member and alumni of the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work, will receive the University’s Distinguished Alumni Award on February 1, 2021.
