Exploring: Ayurveda - a 5,000-year-old natural healing system and the sister science of yoga - provides a comprehensive approach to managing stress and promoting emotional balance through gut health.

As mental health concerns are on the rise, understanding the impact of gut health on our resilience can offer a valuable approach to managing challenges.

Ayurveda emphasizes the mind-body connection, viewing a healthy digestive system as a foundation for resilience against both physical and emotional stressors. Modern scientific research underscores the critical role of gut health in regulating various aspects of mental and physical well-being, showing that a balanced gut microbiome positively influences sleep quality, immune function, energy levels, mood stability, and cognitive clarity.

Through an exploration of recent research, presenters will unpack the physiological link between stress, gut health, and nervous system regulation, discussing practical dietary and lifestyle adjustments such as whole foods, healthy fats, and protein intake. Herbs like Ashwagandha, Brahmi, and Tulsi will be highlighted for their dual calming effects on the nervous and digestive systems, offering accessible ways to build stress resilience.

Designed for professionals working with high-stress populations, this session provides actionable insights on incorporating Ayurvedic practices into client care while enhancing practitioners' own resilience. Attendees will leave with practical tools for holistic support of mental and physical well-being, rooted in the Ayurvedic perspective on gut health.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Participants will be able to identify at least three ways that improving gut health can help clients regulate their nervous system and enhance overall well-being.
2. Participants will be able to identify at least two Ayurvedic herbs that can be integrated into lifestyle to improve gut health.
